Are all these laptops on Windows 7?

The best thing to do is go back to V2.07 while we sort this out - I will e-mail a link to you.

Cheers Rich but no joy.

I have setup my XP computer again and installed the old broadcaster just so I can do my show tomorrow night.

Thanks again.

Hi Lee,

Stereo mix not appearing is a common thing in W7 due to the DRM agreements that Microsoft now has - its been disabled but it can be enabled manually. If its not appearing in the list at all, it usually points to a driver/codec error.

Could you tell me the model of your computer and the sound card?

I checked it on a machine I have running W7 here, the "Stereo Mix" option appears after I check "Show Disabled Devices".

I suggest updating BIOS and sound card driver from the manufacturer's web site first. You can also try this:

Reinstall driver:

1. Click the Start Button, type "devmgmt.msc" (without quotation marks) in the Start Search box and press Enter.

2. Double click to expand "Sound, video and game controllers".

3. Right click your sound card and click Uninstall.

4. Check "Delete driver software for this device" check box, click OK.

5. Restart the computer

Let me know how this works for you

Rich
