not wanting to start a new thread so thought I'd use this one... when I go to download the new Audec in the software section it just says "Download the software you need here!" then underneath "None avaliable"

Any ideas if this is same for everyone or just me:s worried as I already unistalled old version and have a show next week...

I don't see it either, in the download's section. I got mine downloaded from the popup within AuDec. But at least its not just your members login -- I don't have it either. Maybe someone can shed some light... =)

I have an issue with the webcams.

Namely, they wont stay on when I press "start uploading". When i go to the webcams page on the website when it's meant to be working, no image whatsoever is there. Just a small black line... and then after a few minutes the broadcaster stops uploading

I'm sorry Leigh, there is very little we can do on this as it's Windows that handles the webcam, all AuDEC does is ask Windows for use of the webcam, then grabs an image and uploads it.

The very fact you get a black line means that AuDEC has done it's job - that's the image it is receiving from Windows and it's uploading it. It will stop automatically if it thinks there is a problem.

I would try updating the webcam driver and if that doesn't help, download something called Yawcam and while AuDEC Webcam Manager is open, use Yawcams crossbar control and settings to ensure your webcam isn't defaulting to NTSC or any other strange setting.

I say Yawcam as that has the best control panel for seeing settings on a webcam, if you have a control panel for the webcam already, then use this.

This has now been fixed - there was an problem with the file assocation, you should now be able to download it fine Jonnie

I'm also confused about the webcam- it only works if 'live webcam' is activated, but that slows audec down- is this right?

I would check through the thread but I'm on air so a bit busy!
