 Re: Audec Version 2.08
I have fully uninstalled the old version and done a new install but not having any look.
It's a run time error which keeps coming up.
AppName: bcaster.exe AppVer: 2.0.0.8 ModName: timermm.dll ModVer: 1.0.0.0 Offset: 00003c80
The old version runs great.

 Re: Audec Version 2.08
You need to make sure you have deleted your Audec folder from your C: drive and close your computer then install it

 Re: Audec Version 2.08
After uninstalling the old version, try the following... 1) Hold down the Windows button on your keyboard and then press R 2) In the box that appears type... Regsvr32 /u TimerMM.dll3) Press OK 4) Click OK on the info box that appears 5) Install new broadcaster See if that helps

 Re: Audec Version 2.08
Hi Chris,
A new error message is showing 'Run Time Error 429 - ActiveX component can't create object'
I have a feeling it's something to do with my computer but I did try it on both of them and no luck with any.

 Re: Audec Version 2.08
OK, it seems your computer is blocking the registration of that control, which is why the error is appearing. Assuming that the broadcaster is installed now, try the following... 1) Hold down the Windows button on the keyboard and press R 2) In the box that appears, enter... regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\AuDEC Broadcaster v2\TimerMM.dll"3) Click OK 4) Click OK on the info box that appears This is assuming that you installed the broadcaster in the default location

 Re: Audec Version 2.08
Is the audio meter supposed to be this 'jiggery' (sorry couldn't think of a better word!) It used to flow up and down nicely with the audio but now it seems to be very stop-start. Am I using too high a broadcast level?

 Re: Audec Version 2.08
Re-Post from a post I made on Page 2 on 28th Feb:
Yes it can do this at times if the system is busy but it's been designed with broadcasting as a top priority. Even during Your Voice show, it did this but I have about 8 things open and it still worked for the show fine. I also use 256k for broadcasting quality so really hammerd the resources!
Just to let you know I have 1GB RAM and a AMD 2.2GHz Processor. So not the best in the world by any stretch!
Slow/Older machines *may* struggle if using a higher upload quality and using webcams. But I am talking older type PC's

Now I did put it down to my computer having too many problems so I have upgraded with a new computer running Windows 7. Still won't run the new broadcaster. I have installed the old broadcaster and that loads but won't detect my audio. Now I know I need to enable the 'Stero Mix' on my computer but the problem is, it's no where to be seen. I have clicked on recording device and click 'show discounnect devices' but it is still now coming up. Any ideas?
