That's what we did, as standard for an AuDEC upgrade. Is very odd!

OK, weird. I installed 2.07 from scratch, then 08 over the top (allowing the installer to replace all files it wanted to) - new version and features, no errors. How bizarre!

There is an error log in the install folder, does it show an error?

It's not been fully tested on W7 but has been on XP and Vista so should be OK. I need to know that error really :(

Let me know how it goes.

>> Just seen your post as I was posting the above - That is odd. If others can update me should they get an error, I will have a look :)

The Audec 2.08 upgrade does come up with a message before install to make sure you uninstalled the older version though.....

Noticed VU meter refresh rate slows down drastically when I have the webcam test on. Anyone else finding this? and will it effecting stability when on air?

Yes it can do this at times if the system is busy but it's been designed with broadcasting as a top priority. Even during Your Voice show, it did this but I have about 8 things open and it still worked for the show fine. I also use 256k for broadcasting quality so really hammerd the resources!

Yeh it worked fine during the show earlier this afternoon too - running throughout the whole show with no problems to output :)

Just to let you know I have 1GB RAM and a AMD 2.2GHz Processor. So not the best in the world by any stretch!

Slow/Older machines *may* struggle if using a higher upload quality and using webcams. But I am talking older type PC's
